Thierry Godard
Thierry Godard, born on February 8, 1967, in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, is a prominent French actor with a career spanning over two decades. He has made significant contributions to film and television, featuring in more than fifty productions since 2001.
Before embarking on his acting journey, Godard completed a cabinetmaking diploma. His passion for the performing arts led him to train at the Pygmalion Studio in Paris, where he honed his skills under the guidance of Robert Cordier. His television debut came in 1999 with the series "Lawyers and Associates," where he portrayed a journalist. He gained wider recognition in 2002 with his role in "L'Enfant éternel," but it was his portrayal of Lieutenant "Gilou" in the acclaimed series "Engrenages" (Spiral) that truly brought him into the public eye. From 2009 to 2017, he captivated audiences as Raymond Schwartz in the historical drama "Un village français."
On the personal front, Godard has a son named Lino with his former partner, Sandrine Degraef. Tragically, in 2017, he lost his companion, Blanche Veisberg, to cancer. That same year, while filming the TV movie "Remember us," he met actress Sophie Guillemin, and the couple tied the knot in August 2018.
