Plot

Seventeen-year-old Bilal, a Kurdish youth from Iraq, embarks on a perilous journey across Europe in pursuit of his love in England. Arriving in Calais, he faces the daunting challenge of crossing the 32 kilometers of the English Channel, a feat complicated by his inability to swim. Bilal quickly learns that his dream of reunion is fraught with obstacles and danger. Immersed in the lives of other desperate undocumented migrants in Calais, he confronts harsh realities that test his resolve and determination to reach his beloved.
