Carl Warren Reindel (January 20, 1935 – September 4, 2009) was a notable American actor, recognized for his role as Lieutenant Kenneth M. Taylor in the acclaimed war film Tora! Tora! Tora!. He also portrayed the character "Stanton" in the popular Steve McQueen film Bullitt (1968) and played "Lt. Comroe" in the iconic science fiction movie The Andromeda Strain (1971). Reindel made numerous guest appearances on well-known television shows throughout his career. In 1964, he guest-starred on Perry Mason as Barry Davis, the defendant in the episode "The Case of the Drifting Dropout." Two years later, he appeared as Danny Bright, a golf caddy and murderer in "The Case of the Golfer's Gambit." During the same period, he was featured as Scott Baker in Gidget (Episode 25, 1966), a character hired to ensure Gidget's safety during a surf competition. Additionally, he acted in classic series such as Gunsmoke ("Cale"), The F.B.I., Bonanza, The Virginian (under the name Carl Reindell), and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. He also played the son of a man seeking revenge in the western series Wagon Train before retiring from the entertainment industry in the early 1980s.
