Gary Owens

Gary Owens, originally named Gary Bernard Altman, was an influential American disc jockey, voice actor, and radio personality, born on May 10, 1934, and passing away on February 12, 2015. Widely recognized for his distinctive baritone voice, Owens became a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, often delivering absurd yet humorous commentary, most notably as the announcer for the iconic television series Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.

His versatility allowed him to navigate both serious and comical roles with ease, earning him a reputation in various media platforms, including television, radio, and commercial advertising. Owens was particularly celebrated for his voice work, famously voicing the superhero Space Ghost and Blue Falcon in the animated series Dynomutt, Dog Wonder.
