Masha Bucher
Masha Bucher (née Drokova), hailing from New York, NY, is a distinguished figure in the venture capital and communications landscape. Recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, she has also been featured in Business Insider's lists of '100 Rising Star VCs' and the 'Top 50 PR Pros in Tech.'
As the Founder and General Partner of Day One Ventures, Masha leads a fund that champions companies with strong customer-centric cultures while enhancing their communication strategies. Her portfolio includes notable firms such as Superhuman, DuckDuckGo, Remote, Truebill, Yumi, DoNotPay, MSCHF, and Terran Orbital.
Prior to establishing Day One, Masha made her mark as an angel investor and founded a public relations studio that collaborated with brands like Houzz, HotelTonight, and Gett. She also served as Vice President of Communications at Acronis, a data protection company, where she oversaw PR efforts in 18 countries and was previously Head of Communications at venture capital firm Runa Capital.
Masha is a graduate of Stanford’s VC Unlocked program and holds a master's degree in Business and Public Administration from MSU.
