Plot

Masha Drokova, an ambitious teenager, climbs the ranks of Russia's nationalistic youth organization, Nashi, championing Vladimir Putin’s vision of a stronger Russia. Her commitment earns her a university scholarship, an apartment, and a spokesperson role. However, her political aspirations begin to unravel when she befriends liberal journalists, including blogger Oleg Kashin, who harshly critique Nashi, branding it as a "group of hooligans." As Masha delves deeper into the organization’s ruthless and often violent methods, she faces a moral dilemma that challenges her beliefs and her future.
