Lauren Harris
Lauren Harris, born on July 6, 1984, is a British rock vocalist and trained actor who has made a significant mark in the music and theater industries. As the daughter of Steve Harris, the famed bassist of Iron Maiden, and Lorraine Harris, she was immersed in the world of music from a young age. She completed her education at Saint Nicholas School in Old Harlow, Essex, and later pursued A-Levels in Theatre Studies at Leventhorpe School in Hertfordshire.
Harris embarked on her musical journey in 2005, performing in pubs before recording demos for renowned musician Russ Ballard. In 2008, she made her debut with the album *Calm Before The Storm*, which set the stage for her burgeoning career. From 2010 onward, she toured with her hard rock band, Six Hour Sundown, showcasing her talents at major festivals such as Download, Sonisphere, and Graspop. Notably, she often performs barefoot, adding a unique touch to her stage presence.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Harris is a graduate of both the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the Oxford School of Drama. Her theatrical accomplishments include a standout performance as Blanche Dubois in a London production of *A Streetcar Named Desire*. She has also appeared in the film *Adrift in Soho*, further reflecting her diverse artistic abilities. Currently, she is working on a new musical project called Kingdom of I, collaborating with songwriter Dave Stewart and drummer Shauney Recke.
