Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu
Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu is a prominent Turkish artist known for his contributions to theatre, television, and cinema. He honed his craft at Hacettepe University’s Ankara State Conservatory, where he graduated from the Acting Department. Further enhancing his skills, he pursued studies in physical theatre and modern dance across India and Poland. Üzümoğlu has made significant theatrical contributions, earning the "Most Successful Young Generation Artist of the Year Award" at the 21st Afife Theatre Awards in April 2017 for his performance in "Troas." He continued his theatrical journey with notable roles in productions such as "Kalp" and "Evlat," the latter directed by Ibrahim Çiçek.
In television, Üzümoğlu made his debut as "Hakan Sahin" in the 2017 series "Adi Efsane," which aired on Kanal D for 29 episodes, garnering acclaim for his performance. He further expanded his reach by portraying "Emir" in Netflix's inaugural Turkish original series, "Hakan: Muhafiz," in 2018. His role as "Fatih Sultan Mehmed" in the 2020 Netflix series "Rise of Empires: Ottoman" showcased his versatility, while he took on the lead in the 2021 film "Kin" as "Emre / Tuncay Kökdemir."
In 2023, Üzümoğlu ventured into photography, unveiling his first exhibition titled "Loners In Wilderness" at Bina / Bant Mag, featuring 46 striking black and white images captured with an analogue camera, selected from nearly 2,000 works.
