Ishak, a traveling musician hailing from a remote mountain village, finds himself drawn back home to bid farewell to his ailing mother. However, the memories of a lynching he was involved in seven years prior resurface, forcing him to confront the five others—his childhood companions—who participated in the act, along with the community and local officials who stand by them. As Ishak grapples with the heavy burden of guilt, he realizes that the greater the crime, the deeper the silence runs, as everyone involved shares a part in the bloodshed.
