Ranjit Chowdhry
Ranjit Chowdhry (September 19, 1955 – April 15, 2020) was a talented Indian actor celebrated for his diverse work across television, film, and theater. In the 1980s, Chowdhry relocated to the United States, where he expanded his repertoire to include English-language films. Notably, he wrote and starred in the film "Sam & Me" (1991) and appeared in "Lonely in America" (1990).
Throughout his career, Chowdhry took on memorable supporting roles in several acclaimed movies, including "Mississippi Masala," "It Could Happen to You," "Camilla," "Girl 6," "I'm Not Rappaport," "Autumn in New York," and "Last Holiday." He became particularly well-known for his role as Vikram, a savvy telemarketer and former surgeon, in two episodes of the beloved television series "The Office," where his character's interactions with Michael Scott left a lasting impression on fans.
