Plot

Rosie Perreira, a nervous widow, juggles life with her guitar-loving son, Sabhi, and her daughter, Nancy, whom she dreams of marrying off to a wealthy suitor. Her neighbor, Tom, introduces Nancy to Tony Braganza during their morning train commute, encouraging her to bring him home. Initially wary of Tony’s modest salary, Rosie warms up upon learning of his potential earnings. As Nancy and Tony's romance blossoms, doubts arise when Tony hesitates to commit, causing Nancy to question their future. Meanwhile, Rosie begins searching for a more suitable match for her daughter.
