Tun Tun was the stage name of Uma Devi Khatri, a renowned Indian playback singer and actress-comedienne, celebrated as "the first-ever comedienne in Hindi cinema." Over a career that lasted five decades, she appeared in approximately 198 films across various languages, including Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. Tun Tun shared the screen with some of the most prominent comic actors of her era, such as Bhagwan Dada, Agha, Sunder, Mukri, Dhumal, Johnny Walker, and Keshto Mukherjee. Her last appearance in Hindi films was in "Kasam Dhande Ki," released in 1990.
