Tuba Büyüküstün

Tuba Büyüküstün, born on July 5, has built an illustrious career that began with her studies in Costume & Design. While still a student, she ventured into the world of television commercials, eventually transitioning to acting in TV series and films.

At the age of 21, Tuba made history as the first Turkish actress to receive an international award for Best Actress at the International Television Festival of the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro for her role as Gulizar in the film of the same name. Her portrayal in the acclaimed series "Ihlamurlar Altında," where she played "Lamiss," garnered her immense popularity in the Arab world, leading to the creation of a perfume inspired by her character.

From 2007 to 2009, she starred as 'Asiye' in the hit series 'Asi,' which made waves by being the first Turkish show nominated for Best Soap Opera at the 51st Monte Carlo Television Festival. Tuba also became the first Turkish actress nominated for Best Actress at the 42nd International Emmy Awards for her role as "Melek" in the series "20 Minutes," solidifying her reputation on a global scale.

Her performances in "Brave and Beautiful" and the Netflix hit "Another Self," which is the most-watched Turkish series in the USA, further emphasize her appeal.
