Barbie Hsu
Barbie Hsu was a prominent Taiwanese actress and singer, celebrated primarily for her iconic portrayal of Shan Cai in the beloved Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, which is an adaptation of the Japanese manga Boys Over Flowers. She also starred alongside Vic Chou in the drama Mars, further solidifying her status in the entertainment industry. Hsu's film career began with her debut in the Chinese movie The Ghost Inside, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
Before her rise in acting, Barbie ventured into the music scene as part of the duo "S.O.S." alongside her sister, Dee Hsu. The duo released their final album, Abnormal Girls, before rebranding themselves as ASOS, inspired by the unique connotation of their original name.
On November 16, 2010, Barbie married Wang Xiaofei, a Chinese businessman, in a civil ceremony in Beijing. They celebrated their union with a lavish wedding banquet on Hainan Island on March 22, 2011.
