She made her way to Hollywood when the legendary Gene Kelly invited her to reprise her Broadway role in the film adaptation of *On the Town* in 1949. However, she is perhaps best remembered for her iconic portrayal of Gladys Kravitz, the ever-curious neighbor in the beloved television sitcom *Bewitched*, which premiered in 1964.
