Plot

Kay, a former radio singer, discovers through her chatty friends that her husband, Steve, has been unfaithful with chorus girl Crystal. Heartbroken, she attempts to brush off the news until a charity performance by Crystal triggers her emotional collapse, prompting a trip to Reno to initiate divorce proceedings. However, upon learning that Crystal is not the perfect match for Steve and is instead making him miserable, Kay becomes determined to win her husband back. The Opposite Sex cleverly remakes the 1939 classic, The Women, exploring themes of love, rivalry, and resilience.
