Manny Siverio
Manny Siverio is a prominent Latino Stunt Coordinator, Stuntman, 2nd Unit Director, Actor, and Writer, with a remarkable career spanning approximately 25 years in the film industry. Born on April 23, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York, he grew up in Hatillo and Arecibo, Puerto Rico, as the eldest son of Efrain Siverio and Gladys Quintana. In 1980, Manny returned to New York, where he initially worked as a health club and martial arts instructor.
His journey into martial arts began at the age of 10, and he has since developed a diverse skill set that includes Tae Kwon-Do, Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Kali, Grappling, and Wing Chun. This extensive martial arts background has been instrumental in shaping his multifaceted career, encompassing stunt coordination, acting, writing, and even mambo dancing.
In the late 1970s, Manny founded the MCIA School of Fighting in Hatillo, later relocating it to New York City until the mid-1980s. His contributions to the film industry are noteworthy, with his expertise enhancing numerous projects as he combines physical prowess with creative storytelling.
