Dey hails from a creative family, with her sister Leigh Taylor-Young making her mark in acting and her brother Lance Young contributing as a writer and producer in the film industry.
Throughout her acting career, Young has garnered attention for her memorable portrayal of Kate Rambeau in the cult classic "Rock 'n' Roll High School." She reprised this role in the 1994 film "Shake, Rattle, and Rock!"
