Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson, born on May 13, 1986, is a prominent English actor recognized for his range in both mainstream and independent cinema. He began his acting journey at the age of 15 in a London theater club and made his film debut as Cedric Diggory in the 2005 fantasy blockbuster, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. However, it was his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga (2008-2012) that catapulted him to international fame, with the series earning over $3.3 billion at the box office.
