Plot
At a remote colonial outpost, a magistrate faces a moral dilemma when an army colonel arrives, intent on extracting information from the local population regarding a supposed rebellion. The colonel employs brutal methods that shock the magistrate, forcing him to confront his own values and the oppressive nature of imperial rule. As he grapples with his conscience, the magistrate must decide whether to support the colonel's violent agenda or stand against the inhumanity unfolding before him, ultimately challenging the very foundations of his authority and beliefs.
