Donald Edmond "Donnie" Wahlberg, Jr. (born August 17, 1969) is a multifaceted American artist known for his work as a singer-songwriter, actor, film producer, and record producer. He is the brother of fellow actor Mark Wahlberg and is married to comedian and actress Jenny McCarthy.
Donnie first gained fame as a founding member of the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block, which rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His most recognized television role is that of Detective Danny Reagan on the popular series Blue Bloods, a performance that earned him a nomination for the People's Choice Award for Favorite TV Crime Drama Actor in 2017. He has also portrayed memorable characters such as Donnie in the sitcom Return of the Mac, Det. Horst Cali in The Kill Point, Paul Rader in Runaway, and Det. Joel Stevens in Boomtown. His portrayal of Lt. C.
