Van Hansis

Van Hansis, born Evan Vanfossen Hansis on September 25, 1981, in North Adams, Massachusetts, is a distinguished American actor celebrated for his impactful performances in television and film. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Luke Snyder on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns, where he appeared from December 14, 2005, until the series concluded on September 17, 2010. Luke Snyder, a character entwined in a groundbreaking gay romantic storyline, is recognized as one of the pioneering LGBTQ representations in American daytime television.

Beyond his work on soap operas, Hansis has made guest appearances on various television shows and showcased his talent in films, most notably starring in the 2011 psychological thriller Occupant. In December 2012, he took on the role of Thom in the acclaimed dark comedy web series EastSiders, which further solidified his position in the industry. Hansis continued to diversify his filmography with roles such as Jess Gibson in the 2013 horror movie Devil May Call and Dusty in the 2015 LGBT mystery Kiss Me, Kill Me.
