Jeremy Roberts, an accomplished American character actor, was born on September 18, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama. His journey to Hollywood began in childhood, and he later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving valiantly during the Vietnam War, where he attained the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge. Following his military service, Roberts pursued his passion for acting, training at the American Conservatory Theater alongside future stars like Annette Bening.

With a dynamic career that spans over three decades, Roberts has made his mark in the entertainment industry, featuring in more than 200 film and television roles. He gained recognition for his performances in iconic films, including "The Mask" (1994), "Christmas Vacation" (1989), "Herbie: Fully Loaded" (2005), and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" (1991), where he portrayed Lieutenant Commander Dimitri Valtane—a character he later reprised in the series "Star Trek: Voyager."
