Fernando Esteso
Fernando Esteso, born in 1945, began his career at a young age, making his debut as a clown alongside his father at just four years old. In 1964, he relocated to Madrid, where he immersed himself in theatrical productions. His foray into cinema commenced in 1973, marking the start of a successful film career.
Esteso is perhaps best known for his comedic partnership with Andrés Pajares. Together, they starred in a series of nine popular comedy films from 1979 to 1983, including notable titles such as "Los energéticos," "Los bingueros," "Yo hice a Roque III," and "Padre no hay más que dos." Their films often featured a talented ensemble cast, including Antonio Ozores and Adriana Vega, further solidifying Esteso's status in the Spanish entertainment industry.
In addition to acting, Esteso ventured into music, releasing several catchy songs like "La Ramona," "El Zurriagazo," and "Los niños con las niñas." His hit "La Ramona" gained renewed popularity in 2011 when it was performed by King Africa.
Esteso was married to María José Egea, who sadly passed away from cancer on December 13, 2003. They had at least one child before their divorce. In 2006, he was set to reunite with Pajares for a film titled "El código Aparinci," but the project was ultimately cancelled. Throughout his career, Esteso has left an indelible mark on Spanish comedy and entertainment.
