Plot
Set against the backdrop of Aragon in 1937, Lluís, a young Republican officer, finds himself in a precarious situation after falling for the mysterious widow Carlana. She cunningly persuades him to falsify a document, granting her control over the region. Lluís’s best friend, the disillusioned officer Soleràs, uncovers the deception and, to keep Lluís quiet, demands he protect his wife and son from the bombings in Barcelona. When Trini, Lluís’s love interest, arrives in town, she quickly uncovers the betrayal, igniting a turbulent conflict that threatens to shake their moral foundations.
