María Félix

María de los Ángeles Félix Güereña (April 8, 1914 – April 8, 2002) was a prominent Mexican actress celebrated for her significant contributions to the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Renowned for her beauty and charisma, she became an iconic figure in Spanish-language cinema, often regarded as one of the greatest erotic myths of her era. Félix was a leading star alongside other legends such as Pedro Armendáriz and Dolores del Río, playing a crucial role in shaping Latin American cinema during the 1940s and 1950s.

Affectionately nicknamed La Doña, a title derived from her unforgettable performance in the 1943 film Doña Bárbara, she left an indelible mark on the film industry. Additionally, she was lovingly referred to as María Bonita, a name immortalized by the romantic anthem composed for her as a wedding gift by famed musician Agustín Lara.
