Lawrence P. Casey
Lawrence "Larry" P. Casey was born in 1940 into a large family as one of eight siblings, including William Jr., Paul, John, Joseph, Mary, Peter, and the late Michael. He was raised by his parents, William and Florence Casey. At the age of ten, Larry's family relocated to Manhattan's East Side, where his passion for sports blossomed, particularly baseball. He dreamt of becoming a professional player; however, after the tragic passing of his father in February 1955, Larry chose to abandon his baseball aspirations to help support his family financially. He graduated from high school in 1958.
In 1962, a significant change occurred when his mother purchased a dairy farm in Guilford, where she lived with her sons Paul and John until her death in December 2004, nearly half a century after losing her husband. Larry Casey has built a fulfilling life with his wife, Katha, and together they have raised three children. Throughout his life, Larry has demonstrated resilience and dedication to his family, embodying the spirit of support and responsibility that marked his early years. His journey reflects a deep commitment to family values and hard work, underscoring the impact of his upbringing on his character and contributions to those around him.
