Melinda Wendee Lee, born on February 20, 1960, is a distinguished American voice actress known for her extensive work in anime dubbing, video games, and television. With a remarkable career that spans decades, Lee has established herself as one of the most prominent figures in the voice-over industry. As of April 2009, she boasted an impressive portfolio of 223 credits, earning her the title of the English voice actor with the highest number of anime dubbing roles.
Lee's journey into voice acting began during her school days, where her playful mimicry often landed her in trouble, as she recounted in an interview featured on the Magic Knight Rayearth DVDs.
