Mario Feliciani
Mario Feliciani (12 March 1918 – 11 August 2008) was a distinguished Italian actor and voice artist, renowned for his extensive contributions to theater, film, and television.
Hailing from Milan, Feliciani pursued classical studies before enrolling in the Accademia dei Filodrammatici, where he earned his diploma. He made his theatrical debut in 1941 with the company "Palcoscenico" and experienced significant early success in 1946 with the play *La luna è tramontata*. Between 1947 and 1952, he became a vital member of the Piccolo Teatro, directed by the esteemed Giorgio Strehler. His collaboration with celebrated actor Vittorio Gassman marked a significant portion of his career, including international tours that showcased their talents.
Feliciani returned to the Piccolo Teatro in the 1970s, contributing to notable productions such as *Santa Giovanna dei macelli* (1970-71) and *Le case del vedovo* (1975-76). His versatility extended beyond the stage; he was an active participant in film, television, and radio, as well as lending his voice to numerous dubbing projects.
In his personal life, Feliciani was married to actress Giuliana Pogliani, and after their marriage was annulled, he wed actress Vittoria Martello. His legacy remains significant in the Italian performing arts, reflecting a career filled with passion and dedication.
