Mona Hammond

Mona Hammond, OBE, born Mavis Chin on January 1, 1931, is a celebrated Jamaican-British actress of Chinese heritage and a co-founder of the renowned Talawa Theatre Company. Originating from Jamaica, she made her move to the United Kingdom in 1959, where she has since established a remarkable career in the performing arts.
