Rebekah Johnson, also known as Rebekah Jordan, is an accomplished American singer-songwriter and actress hailing from Ohio. She gained recognition in the music industry when her composition "Beautiful Disaster" was recorded by Kelly Clarkson, who featured it on both her debut album and its follow-up. In 1998, Johnson released her own album "Remember to Breathe" under Elektra Records, which yielded radio singles like "Sin So Well" and "Hey Genius." However, due to creative disagreements, she parted ways with the label.

After a brief stint with J Records, which did not culminate in a released album, Rebekah took charge of her career in 2005. Operating under the name Rebekah Jordan, she independently produced and released the EP "The Trouble With Fiction" through her own Tea Party Records. This six-track collection features five original songs along with a distinctive cover of Stevie Nicks’ classic "Dreams," recorded with the collaboration of talented musicians from her live band.

In 2006, she and her bandmates—Butch, John Ballinger, and Jessica Catron—formed a new group called "Dreaming Ferns." Beyond her music career, Rebekah has made a mark in film, with notable appearances in Barry Levinson's "Liberty Heights" and the 2003 romantic drama "Latter Days," where she performed two theme songs, "Another Beautiful Day" and "Tuesday 3:00am."
