Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan, born on August 13, 1982, is a talented actor of Romanian-American descent. He became widely known for his portrayal of Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise. His journey in this iconic role began with the release of Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011. Stan reprised his character in several subsequent films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021).

In addition to his film career, Stan has made notable appearances on television. He played Carter Baizen in the popular series Gossip Girl, Prince Jack Benjamin in Kings, and Jefferson in Once Upon a Time. He also portrayed T.J. Hammond in the political drama Political Animals, a performance that earned him a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries. His film credits include roles in the comedy-drama Ricki and the Flash, directed by Jonathan Demme, and Ridley Scott's science fiction epic The Martian. In 2017, he took on the role of Jeff Gillooly in the biographical film I, Tonya, and more recently, in 2022, he starred in the miniseries Pam & Tommy.
