Plot
In the 1960s, the secluded sisters Merricat and Constance reside in a grand mansion in Shirleyville, Vermont, alongside their wheelchair-bound uncle Julian. Shunned by the townsfolk, they grapple with the lingering trauma of a family tragedy from six years prior. Their isolated existence is disrupted when cousin Charles arrives, challenging their delicate mental state, which is already plagued by paranoia and superstition. As tensions rise, the sisters must confront their past and the encroaching darkness that threatens to unravel their lives.
