Tommy Rettig

Thomas Noel "Tommy" Rettig (December 10, 1941 – February 15, 1996) was a notable American child actor who later transitioned into a career as a computer software engineer and author. Rettig gained widespread recognition for his role as "Jeff Miller" in the beloved CBS television series Lassie, which aired from 1954 to 1957. His portrayal of Jeff, the young boy who formed a deep bond with the famous collie, endeared him to audiences and solidified his place in television history. The series continued to be popular in syndication, often referred to as Jeff's Collie.

In addition to his role in Lassie, Rettig appeared alongside fellow child actor Tony Dow in the mid-1960s on the soap opera Never Too Young. The duo also recorded a song titled "Never Too Young" with their group, The TR-4, showcasing Rettig's versatility beyond acting.
