Stella Stevens
Stella Stevens, originally named Estelle Eggleston, was a multifaceted American talent born on October 1, 1938, and she passed away on February 17, 2023. With a career that commenced in 1959, Stevens gained recognition as an actress, model, producer, director, and writer. She captivated audiences in a series of beloved films, including Girls! Girls! Girls! (1962), The Nutty Professor (1963), The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1963), The Silencers (1966), and the disaster classic The Poseidon Adventure (1972), among others.
In addition to her film work, Stevens made notable appearances in various television series and miniseries throughout her career. Her credits include iconic shows like Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1960, 1988), Bonanza (1960), The Love Boat (1977, 1983), and the long-running series Murder, She Wrote (1985). In 1960, her talent was recognized with a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actress, marking her as a rising star in Hollywood.
