Alexandra Lamy
Alexandra Lamy, born on October 14, 1971, is a prominent actress hailing from France.
Her journey began in Villecresnes, located near Paris, though she was primarily raised in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. At just six months old, her family relocated to La Grande-Motte in Southern France. A few years later, they moved to Alès, where her father operated a fabric store. Lamy discovered her passion for acting while participating in school theater productions. To pursue her career, she later moved to Paris, where she worked diligently to soften her southern French accent.
Lamy’s sister, Audrey Lamy, is also an actress known for her role in the popular French sitcom, Scènes de ménage. Additionally, their cousin, François Lamy, is a notable politician.
From 1999 to 2003, Alexandra gained widespread recognition for her role in the television series Un gars, une fille. In 2003, she began a romantic relationship with her co-star Jean Dujardin, and the pair married in 2009. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2013.
Prior to her relationship with Dujardin, Lamy was with actor Thomas Jouannet from 1995 until 2003. The couple welcomed a daughter, Chloé, born in October 1997.
