Plot

Set in late 19th century France, Louise Violet, a 40-year-old Parisian teacher, embarks on a challenging mission to a rural village. In a community deeply tied to seasonal rhythms and agriculture, Louise must persuade hesitant parents to enroll their children in school. With the support of the local mayor, she gradually earns the trust of families. However, her past soon resurfaces, threatening her progress. Undeterred by the hurdles, Miss Violet passionately fights for her belief that education holds the power to transform lives and unlock freedom for the next generation.
