**María Eugenia Rigón**
María Eugenia Rigón is a talented Argentine actress, playwright, and educator, whose extensive training and diverse skill set have made her a prominent figure in the performing arts. She completed her acting education at Andamio 90, the independent theater school established by Alejandra Boero, and further honed her craft at the CELCIT (Latin American Center for Theater Creation and Research) under the guidance of Juan Carlos Gené, among others. Rigón has also explored various performance disciplines, including jazz and contemporary dance, clowning, and pole acrobatics.
As a playwright, María has participated in workshops with notable figures such as Ariel Barchilón and Ignacio Apolo, culminating in the premiere of her debut play, *La República Argentina*, at Teatro Off Shore in 2019. Additionally, she has developed her pedagogical skills specializing in the TIA method with Débora Astrosky.
Her recent theater credits include *Samsara* (2022) at the Payró theater and several productions at Microteatro, such as *Talle 36* and *Hijos a la carta*. Notably, her work *When the Lights Go Out* received the designation of “Cultural Interest 2019” from the Buenos Aires Legislature.
In film, Rigón has appeared in several recent projects, including *1978* and *Río, Therefore I Am* (both 2023), and *Corpórea* (2022). She has also contributed to series such as *Santa Evita* and the upcoming *Coppola, the Representative*.
Currently, Rigón is involved in theater, film, and advertising while co-founding the FIRST ARGENTINE SCHOOL OF ACTING IN HORROR FILM, where she serves as an acting coach, conducting workshops and seminars both in-person and online.
