Overview
Following Eva Perón's death in 1952, her body is preserved for three years, waiting for a mausoleum that ultimately remains unconstructed. When the military coup in 1955 seizes Argentina, they conceal Perón's remains, believing it will prevent her from rallying the populace. However, their actions inadvertently transform her into a symbol of resistance, making her even more powerful in death than she had been in life. The story explores themes of legacy, power, and the enduring impact of a beloved figure on a nation's identity.
