Sarah Hay
Sarah Hay, born in 1987, grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, alongside her older brother, an accomplished opera singer, and her sister. With a culturally rich background, her grandmother was an art dealer in New York, and her grandfather played with the New York Philharmonic. Hay's parents, both amateur dancers and psychologists, nurtured her early interest in dance. She began her ballet training at the tender age of three, joining the prestigious School of American Ballet in New York City when she turned eight. She later continued her education at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Ballet at the American Ballet Theatre.
Despite finding popularity in her regular school, Hay faced challenges in the ballet world, feeling out of place due to her modest upbringing. She candidly referred to herself as a "troublemaker" in her youth and only realized her passion for pursuing ballet as a career during her teenage years.
Hay's dedication to dance led her to a successful career, where she gained recognition for her talent and artistry. One of her notable achievements includes a significant role in the acclaimed TV series "Flesh and Bone," which showcased her exceptional skills and brought her widespread acclaim. Through her journey, Sarah Hay has not only made a name for herself in the world of ballet but has also inspired many with her resilience and determination.
