Don Fellows
Don Fellows was a distinguished American actor whose career spanned British theater and television. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later raised in Madison, Wisconsin, he showcased his commitment to service by joining the United States Merchant Marine during World War II. Afterward, he pursued a degree at the University of Wisconsin and became a member of the renowned Actors Studio, honing his craft.
In 1973, Fellows relocated to London to expand his theatrical endeavors. His television career included memorable roles in popular series such as *Space: 1999*, *Z Cars*, *Lillie*, *The Sandbaggers*, *The Citadel*, *The Beiderbecke Tapes*, *The Bill*, and *Inspector Morse*. Fellows also made a significant impact in film, appearing in notable productions like *The Naked Civil Servant*, *Spy Story*, *The Omen*, *Raiders of the Lost Ark*, *Eye of the Needle*, and *Velvet Goldmine*. He collaborated with fellow American expatriate Ed Bishop in the radio series *The BBC Presents: Philip Marlowe*, demonstrating his versatility across different media.
Despite battling a stutter throughout his life, Fellows managed to control it while performing, showcasing his remarkable talent. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and significant contributions to the performing arts.
