His entry into the film industry was facilitated by his elder brother, actor Tong Lung (唐龍), who introduced him to director Robert Tai (戴徹). This relationship sparked a prolific partnership that would define much of Lo's cinematic career.

Lo became a prominent figure in martial arts films, particularly those featuring Ninjas. His notable works include classics like *Wu Tang vs. Ninja* (1987), *The Super Ninja* (1984), *Shaolin vs. Ninja* (1983), *Ninja Condors* (1987), and *Mafia vs. Ninja* (1985). One of his most ambitious projects was the nine-hour epic *Ninja: The Final Duel* (1986), directed by Tai.

After his acting career, Lo transitioned to the role of action choreographer while maintaining his collaboration with Robert Tai. His choreography can be seen in films like *Fist of Legends 2: Iron Bodyguards* (1996). Throughout his career, he frequently teamed up with his friend Eugene Thomas, a kick-boxer, showcasing their dynamic chemistry on screen as both allies and adversaries.
