Shaolin vs. Lama (1983)

Plot

Kung fu enthusiast Yu Ting (Alexander Lo Rei) is on a quest for mastery when he rescues young Shaolin monk Hsu Shi (William Yen) from gangsters. Seizing the chance to enhance his skills, he convinces Hsu Shi to help him sneak into the Shaolin temple. However, his presence is unwelcome, and he’s soon expelled but remains nearby, maintaining contact with Hsu Shi. After saving a girl from the ruthless Flying Eagle gang, the vengeful Golden Wheel Lama sees an opportunity to attack Shaolin. Recognizing Ting's loyalty, the abbot decides to train him in lethal techniques to face the impending threat.
