Gautham Ram Karthik

Gautham Ram Karthik is a prominent Indian actor known for his contributions to the Tamil film industry. He began his cinematic journey with a notable role in Mani Ratnam's film "Kadal," which was released in 2013.

Born to the celebrated Tamil film actor Karthik Muthuraman and actress Ragini Karthik, Gautham hails from a lineage deeply rooted in the film world, being the grandson of actor R. Muthuraman. He spent his formative years in Udhagamandalam and pursued higher education at Christ University in Bangalore. His path to acting was unexpected, as he had no prior connections to the film industry until he caught the attention of renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Gautham earned a bachelor's degree that encompassed Psychology, English, and Media studies. During his university days, he showcased his musical talent as both a guitarist and vocalist with his band "Dead End Street." He is also the elder sibling to two brothers, Ghayn and Thiran.
