Plot

Set against the backdrop of pre-Independence Madras, a cruel British general reigns over an isolated fictional village. Over the course of three days, from August 14 to August 16, 1947, the story unfolds as illiterate villagers remain unaware of India’s newfound freedom. As tension mounts, a rebellious local named Param rises to challenge the oppressive regime, rallying his fellow villagers in a fight for liberation. Their struggle highlights the desperation and resilience of those yearning for change, even in the face of overwhelming odds.
