Kevin Tanski
Kevin Tanski hails from Buffalo, New York, where he was born to George and Beverly Tanski. Growing up as the middle child, flanked by his older brother Brian and younger sister Jessica, Kevin attended Lancaster High School. He later earned a football scholarship to the University at Buffalo, where he played for the Buffalo Bulls. However, his athletic pursuits took a backseat as he opted to concentrate on his academics, ultimately graduating with a degree in Psychology.
In 2005, Kevin embarked on his journey into the entertainment realm by training at the Buffalo Pro Wrestling Gym, where he graduated as "Tank" Tanski. Teaming up with his trainer Mark "Killer Kumpf," he formed the duo known as the "Buffalo Bad Boys," performing in various independent wrestling promotions. Though he stepped away from wrestling to explore different career avenues, Kevin made a significant return to the industry. His martial arts expertise and law enforcement certification led to a role as a background/stunt actor in the blockbuster "The Dark Knight Rises," which proved pivotal for his film career.
In 2012, he secured his first leading role in the micro-budget film "Beyond the Call of Duty," portraying a Combat Specialist and gaining international distribution. He further showcased his talent in the Western film "Ride the Wanted Trail" before honing his acting skills under Frank Rossi in Buffalo. Kevin achieved Screen Actors Guild eligibility with a principal role in the award-winning film "Topside," released in 2021, and joined SAG that summer. In 2022, he booked a principal role in an undisclosed television pilot, continuing to pursue his passion for acting.
