Ben Aldridge

Benjamin Aldridge, born on November 12, 1985, in Devon, England, is a talented actor recognized for his compelling performances across various television and film projects. Aldridge honed his craft with the National Youth Theatre before earning a bursary from the Genesis Foundation to study at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He made his television debut in the series *Compulsion*, sharing the screen with notable actors Ray Winstone and Parminder Nagra.

Aldridge gained significant acclaim for portraying Harry Fanshawe, the husband of the lead character, in the 2008 Channel 4 drama *The Devil's Whore*, a role that showcased his acting prowess and earned him a spot on Screen International's "Stars of Tomorrow" list that same year. His versatility is evident in his appearances in various productions, including *First Light*, *Lewis*, *Toast*, and *Vera*. He also captivated audiences as Daniel Parish in the BBC period drama *Lark Rise to Candleford*.

In 2011, Aldridge was cast as the lead in The CW's pilot *Heavenly*.
