Mike Doyle is an accomplished American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer known for his impactful performances in television and film. He gained prominence for his recurring role as Forensics Tech Ryan O'Halloran on the popular series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and as Adam Guenzel in the acclaimed drama Oz.

Doyle's journey in the industry took a creative turn on the set of Oz, where he formed a lasting friendship with George Morfogen, later casting him in Shiner, a short film he wrote, produced, and directed, which premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival. Additionally, he penned and produced the limited-release film Cutter in 2003.

In 2005, Doyle portrayed Lt. Cmdr. Tom Palatonio in the action film Phantom Below, which gained attention due to its varying releases that included different content edits, one of which was titled Tides of War. That same year, he took on the role of Andy, a gay coffee barista, in 29th and Gay.

Doyle's penchant for on-screen demise was highlighted in a June 2, 2009 article in The New York Times, noting that his character's death in the season 10 finale of Law & Order: SVU marked his seventh on-screen death over a six-year tenure. He has also made guest appearances in Criminal Minds and In Plain Sight, and shared the screen with Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in the film Rabbit Hole.
