Jenny Beavan OBE, RDI, born in 1950, is a renowned English costume designer celebrated for her extensive contributions to film, television, and theater, spanning over forty years. Her exceptional talent has earned her a plethora of prestigious awards, including three Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, two Emmy Awards, and an Olivier Award. In recognition of her outstanding achievements in the arts, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2017.

Beavan gained widespread recognition through her long-standing partnership with John Bright, notably crafting costumes for the acclaimed Merchant Ivory Productions. Over her illustrious career, she has received twelve Academy Award nominations for Best Costume Design, winning three times for her exceptional work on A Room with a View (1985), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and Cruella (2021). Additionally, she has achieved ten BAFTA nominations, with four wins, including accolades for A Room with a View and Gosford Park (2001).
