Hullabaloo Over Georgie and Bonnie's Pictures (1978)

Plot

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Royal India, a whimsical adventure unfolds as two insatiable art collectors, played by Peggy Ashcroft and Larry Pine, descend upon a crumbling Art Deco palace owned by a young Maharaja (Victor Banerjee). They are eager to claim a famed collection of Indian miniature paintings, but rivalries and hidden agendas brew as they navigate the palace's intrigues. The royal couple, affectionately called Georgie and Bonnie, and their enigmatic curator (Saeed Jaffrey), along with the Maharaja's captivating sister (Aparna Sen), complicate their pursuit amid extravagant festivities and supernatural surprises.
